Imaging Magma Under St. Helens

Scientists from Eidgenössische Technische Hochschule Zürich (ETH-Zürich) will primarily be involved in the petrologic study of rocks from Mount St. Helens eruptions and older rocks found in the study area.  Correct interpretation of geophysical data and analysis is highly dependent on understanding the types of the materials that could be found in the crust in this region.
